The typical form of this species is the backbone of most Paphiopedilum hybrids out there today. Although this form of the species was not so extensively used in hybridizing it is still one of the easiest and most popular of all Paphiopedilum species to grow and bloom, which makes it a wonderful choice for any novice as well as the expert grower. Paphiopedilum
sukhakulii
Back in the good'ol days (1980’s...!!) these plants were a dime a dozen. Suddenly they were unobtainable and no one could find any for sale. These plants are easy to grow, quick to bloom from the flask and always an attractive species to see in flower.
CA629 $100.00
Flasks

Paphiopedilum
supardii

Hailing from exotic Borneo, this endangered species is rapidly approaching extinction in nature. These plants generally bloom in the spring and last into early summer, producing multiple blooms on each stem. Plants are sturdy and typically mature slowly. Rarely are these seen offered for sale.
CA628 $75.00
Flasks
Ready
10/2017
Paphiopedilum
venustum

This busy flower is like something put together from out of this world! The much defined green and white striped dorsal sepal is set off by the exotic colored petals of ruby, green and white. These perfectly horizontal petals are unsystematically overlaid with large dark spots of various sizes and bordered in fine delicate hairs. The pouch is no doubt the most interesting part of the flower containing the nerve like netting pattern of olive green over the glossy mahogany background. Plants are compact in growth and have beautiful dark tessellated leaves with crystalline like overlay.

Phragmipedium Summer Sun
(Eric Young ‘Rocket Fire’ 4N x Waunakee Sunset ‘Cherry’)
EXCLUSIVE OFFERING: Initially I made this hybrid in 2006 while breeding for my family’s orchid business of Orchids by the Ackers. These ranged from brilliant oranges, well-defined pinks to the deep reds, all with show quality shape and substance.
